Nation Moving operates nationmoving.com, a lead-generation and referral service that connects people planning long-distance, interstate moves with licensed, insured moving companies. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and, importantly for a referral service, who we share it with and why.

Seeing an estimate requires no personal information

You can get a cost range for your route without giving us your name, phone, or email. Route estimates are computed from a published rate model; you only provide contact details if you choose to request written quotes from movers.

Information we collect

If you submit the quote-request form, we collect:

• Your name, phone number, and email address.
• Move details: origin, destination, home size, target date and flexibility, and any extras (car shipping, packing, storage).
• Your consent record, the exact consent text shown, the checkbox state, a timestamp, and your IP address, kept as proof of consent.
• Standard analytics and device data (pages viewed, general location, referring source), some via cookies and similar technologies.

How we use it

To match you with licensed moving companies for your route, to deliver your request to those companies, to operate and improve the site, to prevent fraud and invalid submissions, and to comply with law.

How we share it, read this

This is a lead-referral service. When you submit the quote form, your request and the details above are shared with the specific licensed moving companies you consent to hear from (up to three, identified to you before contact). Those companies are independent businesses and use your information under their own privacy policies to contact you about your move. We also share data with service providers that operate the site on our behalf, for example CRM, phone validation, hosting, and analytics providers, under confidentiality obligations.

We do not sell your information to unrelated third parties or to anonymous brokers, and we do not share your contact details with movers you did not authorize. If a request goes unmatched, we may retain it to try again or contact you about your move; we do not resell it as a commodity lead.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies for basic functionality and aggregate analytics (such as Google Analytics). You can control cookies through your browser settings. We honor recognized opt-out preference signals where required.

Your choices and rights

You can opt out of communications at any time, reply STOP to text messages or use the unsubscribe link in emails. Depending on your state (including under the CCPA/CPRA and similar laws), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may opt out of certain sharing. Data retention and security

We keep quote requests and consent records as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal and recordkeeping obligations (including TCPA consent proof), then delete or de-identify them. We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

Children

The site is intended for adults arranging a move and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
